- Well put Steve. This is why there may never be another perfect season in football. There are just too many bean counters in control nowadays. Even with injuries, teams with the killer instinct such as the '72 dolphins, will find ways to win.

- The media is not hyping this as a controversy, it IS a controversy. Did you see the looks on the faces of some of the starters after they were benched? They wanted to play this out to the end. They were upset. As i said before, if a team is meant to win, they will no matter what injuries may occur.

- P.S. If the lowly jets make the playoffs because of today's bonehead decision, then the football gods will make sure that the colts get paid back by enduring a hugely lopsided defeat. Maybe even at the hands of the jets. How would THAT be for karma?

- I am a dolphins fan and have been since the early 70's. Even I found it fascinating watching the colts attempt to make history. But now that wont happen and i can honestly say that i am rather disappointed at the decision to roll over and play dead.
